Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.” – Isaiah 56:7
Philadelphia House of Prayer is a call for God’s people to establish unceasing prayer and worship before the throne of God. Jesus is worthy of all praise, honor and thanksgiving because He is the only way, the truth and the life.
We will… sacrifice to the LORD our God, as He shall command us.” – Exodus 8:2
In 1 Chronicles 15, David prepared a place for the ark and pitched a tent for it. He assigned Levites to worship the Lord, the God of Israel. Later as David was living in his palace, he became troubled that the Lord’s ark was in a tent, while he was in a palace. And so he began to prepare the Temple, which King Solomon was commanded to finish. Four thousand musicians worshiped day and night, giving glory, honor and praise to the One who is Most Worthy! All of this was a foreshadow of Jesus coming as our High Priest, and the model of the Tabernacle was a copy and shadow of Heaven (Hebrews 8:3).
The elders and angels cry out “Holy!” day and night before the throne of God, and as kings and priests — how can we not join in their song? We are called to minister 24h / 7 days a week, giving God unceasing prayer and worship to the One who sits on the Throne.
“Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people. Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works. Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD. Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.” – 1 Chronicles 16:8 ‐ 11
